| |
 |
To
teach all students the basic fundamentals of the English
language and focus particularly on the four essential skills;
Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. |
 |
To take
learners from a beginner to a intermediate level, focusing on
the four skills. Emphasis is placed on developing communication

Teaching Method
|
| |
 |
The
approach to teaching and learning is based on the principle that
the goal of language learning is the ability to communicate. The
starting point for the lesson plan is the communicative purpose
of language rather than its structural patterns. |
 |
Discussions are initiated on present day issues that are both
relevant and of interest to students. Using a methodology that
requires students to speak up, formulate opinions, challenge and
be challenged in the group, and respect diversity of opinion. |
